With a record number of exhibitors at our annual Taste of Vermont Legislative Reception, the tasting at this event was top notch delighting over 250 attendees. Thank you to all of our participating exhibitors, as well as our sponsors for the event, Efficiency Vermont, Foley Family of Companies and Farrell Distributing. A big thank you also to the Capitol Plaza Hotel for their generous hospitality. And… the People’s Choice Award for Best Taste, sponsored by Foley Family of Companies, goes to Junction - Chefs Kyle Westcott and Charles Tinker along with Director of Culinary Operations, Chef Shawn Calley prepared fettuccine with black truffles and Chanterelle and Oyster Mushrooms. This was topped with a sauce of Pecorino Romano cheese and Grappa wine reduction and served from the hollowed out Pecorino Romano cheese wheel.
