Marketing Opportunities

The Vermont Chamber of Commerce, in a public/private partnership with the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, publishes the official Vermont tourism guidebooks and manages the VermontVacation.com Travel Planner. Through a $2 million annual, out-of-state marketing campaign, the Vermont Department of Tourism & Marketing and partners draw visitors to the mobile-optimized VermontVacation.com, resulting in an average of 65,000 monthly sessions. Guidebooks are distributed in Vermont and border state Welcome Centers, tradeshows in core markets and internationally and used as fulfillment to all tourism inquires to Vermont.

Advocacy

As the leading voice for business, the Vermont Chamber Government Affairs team works year-round advocating for the best policies that will grow the Vermont economy, create more and better paying jobs, and will elevate the quality of life for all Vermonters. When you join the Vermont Chamber, you receive a weekly newsletter, delivered to your inbox every Friday that explains important legislation in an easy to understand way. You can rest easier knowing that you have a team on the ground watching, listening and speaking out on your issues.

Workforce Training and Certification

The Vermont Chamber, the state partner of the National Restaurant Association, presents ServSafe® Food Safety Certification trainings and exams. A ServSafe® Certification is valid for five years, and is highly recommended by the Vermont Department of Health.
Organizations recommended for ServSafe® Food Safety Certification include:
  • Restaurants and Bars
  • Catering Businesses
  • Convenience Stores and Delis
  • Nursing homes and Hospitals
  • Technical Centers, Schools and Colleges
  • Hotels, Resorts, Inns and Bed & Breakfasts
  • Anyone that handles and serves food to the public
