Celebrating the Best of the Best in Vermont
The Citizen of the Year & Above and Beyond Awards dinner is a long-running evening of celebration to honor outstanding Vermonters who receive the Citizen of the Year award and our Above & Beyond Award.
This celebration presents one Vermonter with the prestigious Citizen of the Year Award to an individual who: has made major contributions to the betterment of Vermont; has been distinguished through outstanding service to his/her community and region; and typifies the true spirit of service and self-sacrifice in representing the finest ideals of Vermont citizenship.
The Above and Beyond Award is presented to Vermonters who have been nominated for demonstrating exemplary service and commitment to their job, industry or economy, thus contributing to a more vibrant state for Vermonters to live and work.
