Montpelier, VT (March 30, 2020) –
The Vermont Chamber supports recently announced measures, including Governor Scott’s restrictions on travelers arriving in Vermont, that increase the safety of our communities during this unprecedented public health emergency.
We are also concerned about the health of our state’s travel and lodging industry and are working hard to support employers and businesses impacted by COVID-19 and keep them informed of new restrictions.
We believe that our collective goal should be to educate our statewide businesses and achieve voluntary compliance. We are committed to helping businesses understand Gov. Scott’s Executive Order and will be sending out information today to the entire lodging industry.
The Vermont Chamber will continue communicating updated guidance and compliance measures for lodging operations as swiftly and clearly as possible to keep our state’s businesses informed.
