Welcome to the web site for The Vermont Network of Employers for Traffic Safety.
This web site has been designed to provide employers with information and tools to help mitigate the business and personal costs of traffic crashes.
The Mission of the VermontNETS program is to demonstrate the financial impact of traffic crashes on the company bottom line, and to show that traffic safety should be incorporated into the company's overall safety program.
Reducing traffic crashes not only reduces the cost of doing business, but also influences employee attitudes and habits in the their homes, thus benefitting their families as well.
This web site offers several pieces of material including company newsletter material and other information for use in your company.
The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (VermontNETS) is a program of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by the Governor's Highway Safety Program.
I hope you find this web site useful. If you have ideas on how we can improve this service, or if you would like to contribute your company's traffic safety policies to our collection, please do not hesitate to contact me.
