Vermont has significant connections with China, which is Vermont’s third largest trading partner. In 2005, bilateral trade between China and Vermont amounted to $411 million. More than trade ties bind our country and China, for we jointly face a myriad number of problems touching upon security, nuclear proliferation, energy, and much more.
